Greensboro Fashion Week 2018

It was a huge honor to be a part of Greensboro Fashion Week as their 2018 fashion influencer. I first off wanted to thank the Greensboro Fashion Week staff for coordinating this event for us bloggers and making us feel special for a day. I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you to D.J Hargrave and David Lezcano for helping putting this event together and putting up with us girls all day, haha. It was so nice meeting you both, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know you throughout the day.

When we first arrived on Saturday, we arrived at the Jaguar and Range Rover dealership. This was such a fun experience for me because I got to drive one of my dream cars. Thank you to Jaguar Greensboro and Land Rover Greensboro for letting us use your beautiful cars for the day and for sponsoring this year’s fashion show. I was so excited that I had the opportunity to get to know a little more about these beautiful cars and a chance to see how they drive. You can find both of these dealerships in the Triad area in Greensboro as well.

Our second location was the Fainting Goat Spirits located right in downtown of Greensboro. I learned so much about how alcohol is really made and I got to see production behind the scenes. This is a family-owned distillery and they are known for some of their signature drinks. One of them being Tiny Cat Vodka and it was named the #1 craft vodka in the nation by the American Craft Spirits Association. They were so nice to us and showed nothing but kindness to us ladies!

This is Bill, he gave us the lovely tour around the facility and he was such a joy to be around! He also might have been one of my favorites!

The next spot we visited was the Havana Phils cigar lounge. Not only can you relax in their lounge, purchase cigars, but you can also relax by their bar where they provide signature drinks.

The sweetest stop of the day was the Dolce & Amaro Artisan Bakery located on Westover in Greensboro. Not only did I love this sweet bakery, but I also loved the people that worked there. They took us in the back to show us where they make their wonderful pastries, and we even got to meet the chef! I got to try one of their delicious homemade cannolis as well as some of their cakes. I loved how decadent everything was, and they really made sure we were all taken care of. I will definitely will be back here for some sweets. That’s for sure!

We then headed to where the fashion show was being held at. While we waited for the show to start, we were seated at a VIP lounge for just us bloggers. I loved meeting so many new people at the show. And to those of you who came up to me to introduce yourself, it was so nice to meet you, and I enjoyed chatting with you. I will say one of my favorite parts of the show was watching Kriegsman Boutique’s collection come down the runway. All of their pieces were absolutely stunning. There was so much detail that I could see in each garment that was showcased. They showcased a lot of women and men’s luxury outerwear such as fur coats, sweaters, hats, and more. The show overall was such a huge hit and so entertaining. It was very well organized and produced. I cannot wait to attend next year’s show and see what else the designers bring to the runway!
