Happy Tuesday beauties! Last weekend I went to Raleigh to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in concert and I had a blast! First of all, I would totally go see them again because they were amazing singers and the love that they have for one another is so beautiful. Secondly, I was so "upset" because usually my mom and I get floor seats and this time we chose not to because we didn't think that they would come see the audience on the floor and sure enough they did when we decide this time to not get special seats. UGHHH!! So close! Lol. Both Tim and Faith were walking around the entire floor singing and I regret not running down to try and get a photo with them.Total fan girl over here but what a fail. Haha.
For todays blog post, I wanted to talk about how cute this outfit is that I put together and I hope it will inspire you guys to go outside your comfort zone when it comes to style. Having special statement pieces in your summer wardrobe that you can pair with different clothing items is key to style. When you have a really good quality summer piece your possibilities are endless when it comes to mix-matching. Especially, when you can wear the item all year round and just change it up for the new seasons that you are in. The suspender skirt that I have styled with today's blog post is perfect for all year round so this way, I can save money by styling it differently each season. Personally, I think the suspender skirt will look really cute in the fall time. For example, you could pair it with a cabby hat for the fall time with a dark lip. I found this adorable suspender skirt at Urban Outfitters and I had this image in my head with how I wanted to style it for the fall time but wanted to challenge myself with a summer idea. Having a pop of color really brings out the detail of the skirt as well. The polka-dot top is from Forever21 and I wanted to bring out more of the summer vibes to this look since I personally think it's a fall skirt. I brought out these cute black platform sandals from Nordstorm Rack that I got last year to bring out the summer boho look again.
After all the photos, I put a link to a similar skirt suspender that I found online. They didn't have a lot of options online like they did in store but I put the link just in case someone was interested. For the top, I surprisingly couldn't find it online either but I again linked a similar top for ya'll. I hope you guys enjoyed today's blog posts and as always, I love you all so much and thank you for all the support!
